Gameplay, Visuals, Design: 5/5
Storyline: 3/5
Overall: 4/5
If you havent already realized from the images and trailer, this game is a very high quality game in terms of visuals and sounds. Its gameplay, controls and battle mechanics are excellent. The combination of turn-based strategy paired simultaneously with real time battles is innovative and a joyful experience that, although takes some getting used to, provides more options to play to your own style. In terms of gameplay and quality this game excels and gets a maximum rating from me. I played it on my iPhone6 in case that matters to some
Unfortunately the depth and quality of the gameplay and aesthetics is not complimented by a deep storyline. The storyline is intriguing and the setting is very interesting but I felt like it left me with many questions and although it starts making more sense towards the end I never felt like I fully understood what was happening. This plot full of holes and gaps, combined with the fact the game is linear and entirely guided (you basically keep walking and fighting until you reach the end) is the downside. Its also very short. The whole game feels like the final chapter of a book having missed everything that happened before that point.
If not for the intriguing setting, beautiful design, and fun, innovative battle system I wouldve given this game a lower rating, but its strong suits outweigh its shortcomings. Worth playing but its short length and underdeveloped storyline make it not worth $10, get it when its on discount.
